Chad Melton is the lead hygienist at Puget Sound Periodontics returning in 2015 after completing his degree in dental hygiene. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist Chad was a clinical assistant for Dr. Kang and Dr. Suzuki for a period of four years. In his free time, he coaches competitive gymnastics and enjoys traveling, barbequing/cooking and spending time with his wife and three children. Chad’s goal is to “Make every patient feel welcome, informed and cared for during their time at Puget Sound Periodontics.
Angelica, RDH, BA
Angelica has joined Puget Sound Periodontics after completing her BA in Dental Hygiene at Lake Washington Technical College where she graduated cum laude. Prior to attending hygiene school, Angelica was a dental assistant for 3 years while preparing for her future as a dental hygienist. Growing up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Angelica has acquired the love of being outside and exploring with her husband and two daughters.
Melissa, RDH, BASDH
Melissa, one of our dental hygienists. She has received two degrees; a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health from Seattle Central. She has always had a passion for the dental field and knew she wanted to be in it. She is huge in giving back to the community and grew up doing so by providing patient care and education in oral healthcare. She brings hard-work and dedication to her work as well as a caring approach and thorough explanations to support patient understanding. “That human connection” is important to her and she exhibits this with kindness and empathy.
Carrie Cummins, RDH
Carrie was born and raised in southern Idaho. Growing up on a farm helped instill hard work, persistence, and compassion for not only animals but for people. She attended Oregon Institute of Technology to play basketball, pole vault, and to earn her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in 2015. She and her husband have had the opportunity to move to several states, but she is so excited to be back in the pacific northwest and be a part of Puget Sound Periodontics once again. Carrie takes pride in treating every patient like family and wants them to have the best possible experience and outcome. She loves being a part of a team, is extremely thorough and enjoys providing oral education to patients. When she’s not in the office she likes exploring the outdoors, playing the guitar, and spending time with her husband, three children, and dog.
