Alloderm donor graft is a sophisticated technology for select patients who exhibit gum recession. While traditional gum grafting involves taking gum tissue from the roof of the mouth and transplanting to a new location, alloderm donor graft bypasses the need to create the second wound site on the roof of the mouth. These donor grafts derive from a tissue bank and have been processed to allow maximum compatibility with any individual. Because we are able to acquire this product in large volume, patients who exhibit generalized recession may complete treatment of the entire oral cavity in fewer visits than with traditional grafting.
