A Message from Dr. Liu

Greetings, 

My name is Dr. Allen Liu. Coming from a family of dentists, dentistry has always been a part of my life.  I grew up in the dental office, learning about dental terminology at age 6 and manning the front desk as a young child.  It is fair to say that dentistry was ingrained in me.

As I worked my way through my dental training, the specialty of Periodontology was especially interesting. It is the foundation of oral health and a very important prerequisite to desirable treatments such as braces, fillings, crowns, veneers, etc. It is a subject that is vast yet fundamental to the well-being of a person’s life. As a periodontist, I am proud to have joined one of the most prestigious periodontal practices in the State and am in the unique position to help patients navigate to excellence for their oral needs.    

Periodontology is a field that I am particularly fond of because of the vast body of knowledge in the specialty. Of all the dental specialties, Periodontology is peerless in the evidence-based approach used in our day to day decision making. Everyday there are new and unique studies being updated that constantly keeps us on our toes to be at the forefront of the best treatment. It is a blessing that I am in a position to offer patients the most up to date knowledge, most accurate diagnosis and best treatment options.
